Newborn Photography Denver

Newborn Photographer

When is the best time to have a newborn photography session done? Having the newborn photo session done within the first two weeks is ideal because they still have that "newborn look" and they love to eat and sleep! The younger your baby, the better our chances are of capturing a sleepy baby. We like to aim before the two-week mark, but we understand that might not work for some families. Contact us and let us know when you feel would be best time for our session.

Our B-stop, 1.5 hour, package is recommended for newborn photography. The photo session will definitely (maybe) run a little longer because they might need a little extra love and attention (don't worry, no additional charges). All our newborn sessions take place at the comfort of your own home since it's the most comfortable place for a new family. There are many Denver newborn photographers and we appreciate you considering us to capture this moment. If you have any questions please feel free to contact us.

When should we schedule the newborn photo shoot?

We book newborn sessions on short notice or up to 6 months in advance. It's never too early to plan. It will be one thing off your checklist before your baby's grand entrance!

Can we be in the pictures? What about other kiddos?

Of course!

Where will the newborn session take place?

The session will take place at the comfort of your home. We like to setup in the room with the most natural light. Places that I like to use are your living room, bedroom, the baby's room, and possible the front or backyard.

Do you bring props?

Yes! We will bring blankets (for backdrop), diaper covers, cheesecloth wraps (different colors), and something to place your baby in (basket or suitcase). Most props and hats that you see on our photographs belong to the baby. The picture will hold a different meaning if we utilize your hats, blankets, books, or other props you wanted to include in the picture.

How many images should we expect?

Most newborn photography sessions will render around 50 images with the B-Stop package.

Do you photograph newborn twins? Is there an additional charge?

Yes of course we photograph twins! No additional charges, but we do need an extra set of hands. Ask a family member or friend if they would like to help. How could they say no?! :)
